Just curious, anyone like any names with a floral theme for girls. Just doing some research - hope I get to use it but can't count any chickens!

Olwen. It means white footprint. In welsh mythology, Olwen was the daughter of a giant but she was so gentle and fragile, white flowers would grow in her footprints.

What about Posy? Or Chrysanta as an alternative to Chrysanthemum... I've decided I love this, but can't really see a child getting through our local high school with that as a name!

Italiangreyhound · 01/04/2012 08:53

Love Marigold. Lilac is beautiful too. You are a creative 'bunch'. Thanks
