Ok so we are struggling for a name for ds3.

We have a Dylan and a Miles already.

Quite liking Fenix/Phoenix, opinions pleaseSmile

I know I always say this. But just for a minute imagine yourself as a short, shy, self conscious 11 year old introducing yourself to your new year 7 peer group as Phoenix.

And then think again. Jude is good. Kier goes well with your other two. Harry if you're choosing Phoenix because you're a HP fan.

DairyNips · 30/03/2012 10:51

I see what you mean about pron it 'Fenwicks', don't want that to happen!

Gone off Jude, it's really cool but just doesn't seem right anymore..

Bertie got laughed at by mil Sad

I think I prefer 'Phoenix' to Fenix..

How about Anton? Just think it sounds good with Miles!

MerryMarigold · 30/03/2012 10:48

If I saw 'Fenix', I would think it was pron. like 'Fenwicks' the shop.

jaffacakehips · 30/03/2012 10:48

I remember OP posting before about Bertie, is that off the list too?

I've suggested Jude, but DH said no Sad

MerryMarigold · 30/03/2012 10:47

Jude is pretty cool too (I have one!)

seeker · 30/03/2012 10:47

Phoenix is awful. But Fenix.....words fail me.

jaffacakehips · 30/03/2012 10:45

Dairy What happened to Jude?!?!?

JasperJohns · 30/03/2012 10:42

Beck was on my list with ds1! Still love it.

DairyNips · 30/03/2012 10:40

Love Beck but ds1's friend at nursery is called that!

We are using Harrison as the middle name, don't want it shortened to Harry, hence not using it for the first nameSmile

I know a Dylan who has a brother Harrison. How about that? Bit of a musical theme: Dylan, Miles and Harrison.

MerryMarigold · 30/03/2012 10:36

Phoenix. I know one, his brothers are Beck and Herbie. I prefer their names and I think Beck is a fab name. Any good to you?

JasperJohns · 30/03/2012 10:34

I love Felix

JasperJohns · 30/03/2012 10:33

I have an aversion to buggering up perfectly good spellings.

Fenix sounds like a medical brand name.

Dillydollydaydream · 30/03/2012 10:31

Phoenix spelling definitely. I actually really like Felix (may add it to own imaginary baby list).

DairyNips · 30/03/2012 10:28

Thanks. I think I prefer the Phoenix spelling but dh unsure. Don't really like felix cause it reminds me of a cats name Grin

It's a bit 'trying too hard for me.' That's a personal thing though.

BUT I think it does go with your other boys names.

Definitely spelt Phoenix.

Or Felix?
