boys names help!

We are having loads of trouble thinking of boys names we both like. At the moment the most likely one is harry, but there's an element of making do... others we have considered are:

Archie
Atticus
Huckleberry
Fox

Is harry just too popular now? I don't want to land him with a name that five other kids in class have. But we are struggling to come up with any others!

Agree that Harry is very overdone - I know lots of little Harrys. Archie also feels very 'trendy', and I think both will date as they go out of fashion.

I like Atticus and Fox but am not sure about Huckleberry. Also like Felix, Arthur, Tristan and Hugo.

We're probably going to name our bump Quentin, although are still deciding which middle name to use with it.

At least your DS would be the only one! If you really love the name then use it! I woul like an attitcus but that's never going to happen now. Sad

Yes, To Kill a Mockingbird is an old favourite AND has personal meaning for DH and I . . . but it's a bit of a loveit/hate it name too.

Pasiphae, DH won't go for anything there, sorry!

Please keep the ideas coming!

Archie is in the Harry league, I agree.

Huckleberry would be too fanciful for me, a bit try-hard as well.

Some more ideas:
Bertie, Perry, Percy, Hugo, Remy, Noe, Eli?

Thanks for your replies. There are some lovely names here, but by the time I have ruled out those that are already in the family, those that friends have recently used and those that DH says no to, there are none left. He is much more picky than I am about boys' names!

Because of our surname, I think it would be better if the name had at least two syllables, and preferably didn't end with M or S. That is why I am uncertain about Fox and Atticus, although I really like them. And I am wondering if Huckleberry is a bit too fanciful, and Archie (like Harry) a bit overused at the moment . . .

Harry is soooo popular, we know 2 Harry's that are 4 like my DS. Archie is nice.
