DC4 is due in a couple of months and we are really struggling for names. If she's pink her middle name is Kate, if he's a boy we don't even have that decided!

The elder siblings are Alan Stuart, Amy Lorraine and David Luke and worried that Talia, our current leader for girls names is a bit less 'normal' and doesn't 'go', but not sure how much that matters? Have been through phases of Bethany Kate (until friend nicked Bethany for my Goddaughter!) Philippa Kate (till we realised that she'd sound like a royal wedding souvenir!)

For a boy I like Samuel but we know 2 locally, as well as family friends who named their little boy that a fortnight ago so probably overdone! Peter is a possible for family politics but no major likes - apart from James - but can't have an Amy and a Jamie! Also like Alex for girl or boy, but again don't think having 2 'Al's would be too clever.

All suggestions gratefully received!

James doesn't have to be Jamie - he could be Jim or Jimmy or even James.

Talia is lovely. Not keen on Sam/Samuel either though.

Go with Talia. It's a beautiful name.

My DD2 is Talia May, and people always comment on how pretty it is Smile

We have only ever met one other, and that was in Greece. Apparently it means 'blossom' so its a lovely choice for this time of year when the blossom is on the trees.

Talia is gorgeous - feminine, classic but underused these days. Sounds fine with your other dcs.

Agree that Sam/Samuel is overdone (I know loads of little ones) as is Alex and James imo. I do like Peter very much (and that isn't used as widely already). Or how about Michael, Quentin, Dominic or Philip?
