Boys names - one sylable

I have 2 boys on the way and I am beginning to panic as time is running out and NO NAMES as yet!
We have a DD who has a one sylable name, beginning with F - and it is slightly french sounding. Surname has lots of 'S's!
I quite like the idea of single sylable boys names. One name both DH and I agree is a possibility is Ralph.

Middle names are likely to be Michael, Edward or Kenneth - I am happy that I can get a middle name to fit, its the first names we are really stuggle with.

I could think of loads of girls names but struggle with boys! Anyone got any suggestions / names I could steal? :-)

Grin You tell him, girl. I think he's being very unreasonable - as you say, they already have his surname - most men have to make do with that.

I will try Yummy! everytime we start to talk about names it ends up with us both in a grump with each other!! DD already has his Mums name as her middle name and all the children have / will have his bloody surname - what more does he want! Well, I will tell you what he wants - his dads name and brothers name to feature in the boys names. That upsets me as what about my family! I shall have to be stronger on this...!! (oo, sorry for all the exclamation marks).

Doesn't he know that it's your decision? Does he not know that the one who grows it and pushes a big head out of a small opening is the one who names it? tut tut - you'll have to put him right. Wink

OOO, I like Quinn - not thought of that one! And it begins with a Q!! Love it! Ralph and Quinn?? And DD loves Baby Jake - and one of the characters is called Quinn - she would love it! Thanks Yummy - definitely one to discuss with DH, although I fear he wont like it - why can't he just leave it to me!

you might be right Blabber - it doesn't have to be one sylable, but I do need the names to go with DDs. I like Hugo - which is obviously not one syllable! I LOVE Ted, but would want the name to be Edward and then nn to be Ted. I love Edward to but DH says no - hence being relegated to a middle name :-(

max, sam , luke, jake, ted,

i had thought i wanted a 1 syllable name but am now worried i'd end up calling the baby lukey or jakey and when they're older people might add an "o" on the end to make it nicknamey.

Thanks Cabbage, I like Jack but worry its too popular?? I am looking for something a bit unusual but not to 'out there' - probably lots of peoples criteria!
