All the way through we have said we will have primrose if the baby is a girl but we are now wavering and edging more towards Elsa, my only worry is that Elsa may become popular, which would you go for?

Primrose sounds a bit twee to me, sorry. Didn't realise the Fifi connection though.

I know of 3 Elsas aged 2 and under. I really like it. It's getting more prevalent, but I don't think it's going to be the next Olivia.

I love the name Elsa! It was the name of the Lion in "Born Free" and I am a great animal lover. Agree that Primrose does remind me of Fifi and the Flowertots.

Elsa won't be that popular.

Elsa, Primrose is fifi's freinds there and she is not the nicest.

I would go towards Primrose myself. Elsa reminds me of the lady that used to be in the soap Neighbours in the 80's. Lovely name but not so modern. But it depends if your looking for old or new really. Primrose can aslo be shortened to Prim. You may or maynot like shortening of the name.

Try and imagine what the name you want shouted across a playground in all sorts of formats. That's the name that is going to get the less teasing too. (tip I got ages ago)

Primrose is a cow's name. Elsa is a lion, but infinitely better.
