What do you like best?

Baby is due in april. Which do you like best? Honest opinions please.
DS is Jake DD is Imogen.

For a boy (middle name will be thomas)
Oscar
Oliver (too popular?)
Rory
Henry (our surname begins with H. Do you think it will sound silly?)
Leo (DH loves i'm not sure)

For a girl
Sophia
Betsy
Freya
Emilia
Martha

Oscar - like although know several
Oliver - like a lot
Rory - ok
Henry - like
Leo - Blaire, Sayer...

Sophia - not fussed about although nicer than Sophie which I detest
Betsy - prefer Betty (as nn for Elizabeth)
Freya - can't get excited about this
Emilia - nope
Martha - love

Rory- dislike. Reminds me of Rory McGrath.

I love Oscar and Henry although not sure about how it would fit with your surname - we avoided names that started with same sound as our surname although I think it depends as sometimes can work fine! Really don't like Rory or Leo but think thats because of RL associations!!

I actually love all your girls names! Sorry not much help!! My favourites are probably Sophia and Emilia

Oliver is not too bad, but is popular. Not keen on Ollie.

Can't stand Rory - sorry! It's v popular where I live - well I know 5 under 2yo. All of them live up to the name and roar a helluva lot Grin

Sophia, Freya are nice.

Betsy...why would you? "Heavens to Betsy" It just doesn't pass my test of can she be high court judge with a name like that? That said I do know a Betsy - lovely american woman in a very arty job.

I much prefer Emilia to Amelia (not keen at all on the meaning) - but she'll be forever correcting people.

Martha seems a bit clunky too me, but I can see people liking it as strong name.

Probably not much help... I found names really hard.
