We both like the name Humphrey very much, but it does seem to be a love it or hate it name. What's the MN verdict?

Unless you are expecting a baby elephant, the answer is a resounding NO!

twizzlestix · 15/02/2012 20:01

I like it! But I love old fashioned names. If you both like it go for it!

Very divided! Not trying to be cute, we just like it. I saw a teenager on a documentary called Humphrey and it really suited him.

I had an imaginary friend called Humphrey. He was lovely and he always eat his greens and wore a cape.
On those reasons alone it is a great name.

TheCuntwormUnderfoot · 15/02/2012 15:00

No, even on a baby just silly and cutesy NOT clever.

Like 'Humphrey's Corner' baby clothes - ooh how winsome. NO.

usualsuspect · 15/02/2012 11:03
