I actually quite like it. But I somehow sense it is wrong. What do you all think? I previous choice was Otis.

Oh wow zombie thread! I wonder if baby Fox has started kinder Grin

I'm a long time X Files fan so theoretically I love the name Fox.

In reality though it doesn't sound great. Even Fox Mulder hates his name.

Using it on the hope that no-one will think of the X Files in 20 years time is a really bad idea. XF started in 1993, 23 years later it's on again and judging by worldwide ratings of 50 million another 20 years seems more than plausible.

I know a Fox!! He is 3, I can't help thinking you have to be quite...umm...outgoing to suit the name and he isn't. Although obviously he is only 3.

I actually quite like it.

Eek, old thread

PooDogMillionaire · 06/02/2016 21:20

Yep I like it!

Allalonenow · 06/02/2016 21:17

He will be a 4 year old Cedric by now!

PennyHasNoSurname · 06/02/2016 21:10

Ooops should have checked the date!

PennyHasNoSurname · 06/02/2016 21:10

We liked Fox too, but dc1 is Meg, so shouting Meg an Fox in the park might have raised a few dad's hopes unecessarily. Then we toyed with using it as a middle name, but settled on MN Leo instead (as DD said DS was "handsome as a lion")

MrsDarcy4092 · 06/02/2016 21:10

It's an old thread but I was googling "boys name fox" and it came up. I really love it. Others we love are Rex and James

MrsDarcy4092 · 06/02/2016 21:08

I love it!!!!

Peppaismyhomegirl · 06/02/2016 21:06

Amazing! Wish I had a fox! Go for it. Otis is awful!

benne81 · 08/02/2012 19:27

I was in Primark the other day and someone was shouting a boy called wolf. Don't like wolf but I do like wolfgang

kreecherlivesupstairs · 08/02/2012 15:09

Why?

TheCuntwormUnderfoot · 08/02/2012 14:49

Fox News.

Nooo!

Scathac · 07/02/2012 21:35

I did teach a Fox once. Nice lad, but bizarre name. didn't go well with Mackechnie (btw not his real surname ... wouldn't do that to anybody!)

MamaLazarou · 07/02/2012 14:09

I like Fox, and would have used it for our son if my husband hadn't vetoed it.

schloss · 06/02/2012 19:26

Why not use Tod, means Fox in some northern dialects!

Littlecherublegs · 06/02/2012 13:40

No, dont do it!
Think of the poor kid!!

3boysgirlontheway · 06/02/2012 12:23

Fox is okay, but, Wolfgang shortened to Wolf is fab!

littlemissnormal · 06/02/2012 09:58

Constance Emilia is lovely! Girls names so much easier than boys!

Wants3 · 05/02/2012 18:46

Congrats! not far behind me then I am 25+3 weeks. We are having a boy:) love your girls name too, would she be nn connie?
Love to see you on no brooking pregnancy thread, that's where I spend most my time!

MyGoldenNotebook · 05/02/2012 18:17

Hi wants I do remember! You must be due soon? I'm just coming up to 20 weeks. Think I'm gonna go for Otis actually as I'm just not sure about Fox but do love Otis. DH is saying I'm being a coward! But I don't think babynames should be a bravery contest:)

We don't actually know if it's a boy yet ... just getting excited for scan and both fully decided on girls name - Constance Emilia. Have strong boy feeling though ... whatever that means xx
