Zara or Isla?

Title says it all really. We love both names and can't decide which to go for. Would appreciate any views on either. Thanks

i really like it now, didn't when i was younger, but i am quite old, 43, so everyone else was called emma and helen and sharon.

I love both, so no help really :) If Isla really is becoming super-popular, then I agree Zara might be the better choice.

LOVE both but if you are worried about popularity Zara is probably the one to go for.

Easily Zara - would be on my short-list for another girl.

Isla is a lovely name, but very popular now and so will date.

Though it saddens me to say it as a mum of a DD who is called Isla (4); I have to concede the name has been overcooked of late. :-( It needs a rest! What was once a less common Scottish name outside of Scotland; has become so much more ordinary due to it's popularity/name of the day trend.
Zara is refreshing :-)
