Hi,
Would love to hear opinions on the baby girl's name 'Willow'.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I know 2 Willows. One is a beautiful redheaded girl, the other is a boy.

I know one Willow. She is 21,and tall and slender and fair,so a very good choice of name for her,but not for all .I also knew a Catkin.

Willow is my DDs middle name. We picked it as her first name and it was only near the end of the pregnancy we waivered a bit but decided to wait until she was born and decide. When she was born she was so feisty and just didn't look like a Willow,so it was downgraded to a middle name. It is a pretty name,I have met a teenage Willow recently who is short with dark brown hair,it suits her though and didn't make me think of her height at all. It is growing in popularity.

They seem to be popping up everywhere! The next Scarlett I'd say

Needs to fit the person. Needs to be willowly. There are several Willows in our area. 1 is not Willowly and it just makes her size more noticeable somehow.

Lovely, very pretty.

blameitonthecaffeine · 27/01/2012 22:02

It's pretty.

But I would worry about the girl growing up to be short and stocky!

planetpotty · 27/01/2012 20:46

Same here queen Sad

It is getting more popular though - in case that matters to you OP.
