Juno?

We have a longish double barrelled surname and and our sons are called Alec and Guy so in the past we have obvs gone for 1 syllable names.

If #3 is a boy it'll be Miles or Magnus or Hugo/Hugh but we have nothing for a girl. I like Juno but it is not only the name of PIL's neighbour but is it a bit silly with a real Jilly Cooper of a surname?

Love the film, love that name. :) Goes well with your boys' as well.

Bluestocking · 26/01/2012 18:31

Hully, I'll talk about the film if you like but I really dislike it! Would hate to disagree with you and risk being disembowelled or sent to live in a Biffa bin (sorry, OP, complete thread hijack).

The film is about a teen pregnancy actually! The lead character is funky, quirky and strong. I love her. That's where I heard the name first!

AhsokaTano · 26/01/2012 18:16

Hully, I've never seen the film is the title character nice? I've never heard of Juno and the Paycock either - I'm off to google.

All my names coupled with our surname do sound vair posh but I think the (existing) kids pull it off!

I also like Frances for a girl or Iris.

glastocat · 26/01/2012 17:42

SquishyCinnamonSwirls · 26/01/2012 17:42

Love it.

tiredteddy · 26/01/2012 17:41

Love this name! It is top of the list if I ever produce a girl!

OriginalJamie · 26/01/2012 17:39

SoFarWeAreEqual · 26/01/2012 17:24

love it.

AlmaMartyr · 26/01/2012 16:27

Juno's a fab name.

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 26/01/2012 16:21

I love it and want to use it if we have another girl. My only concern is it sounds a bit like something a veh veh posh person would call their dog. Possibly.

glastocat · 26/01/2012 16:19

Its pretty well known in Ireland (but not used much), due to the play Juno and the Paycock.

glastocat · 26/01/2012 16:18

Its lovely.

AltShiftDelete · 26/01/2012 16:17

Psammead · 26/01/2012 15:43

I quite like it.
