As time is drawing closer it's becoming more difficult to decide. We're stuck between Tara Eve or Tessa Julia? Thank you.

Tessa Faye works really well. :)

sunshinemummy2012 · 24/01/2012 16:35

Oh great! Tessa Faye really feels like the one! Only another few weeks to go. Thanks for all the input it really really helped.

I love Tessa Faye :)

mathanxiety · 24/01/2012 15:58

Or how about Tessa Juliet?

mathanxiety · 24/01/2012 15:58

Tessa Faye flows very well.

fanjodisfunction · 24/01/2012 15:32

Tessa Faye, really like it. It sounds like a name already and goes well with your last name.

GrimmaTheNome · 24/01/2012 15:11

(though I don't think Fay needs an extraneous e on the end)

GrimmaTheNome · 24/01/2012 15:11

Tessa Faye sounds nice - better than your previous suggestions.

MerryHippo · 24/01/2012 15:08

Tessa julia

sunshinemummy2012 · 24/01/2012 14:04

Thanks yes Jane was a possibility but my husband is not convinced. We agree it should be something simple and one syllable.

dippydoodah · 24/01/2012 13:25

How about Tessa Jane?

birdofthenorth · 24/01/2012 09:08

Tessa Julia or Tessa Eve both lovely

sunshinemummy2012 · 24/01/2012 08:55

I think we?re finally getting there, so thanks again for your help. Tessa seems to be the tipping the post for us both. Our newest option is Tessa Faye?

I like Tessa Eve.

lurkinginthebackground · 23/01/2012 22:50

I would go with Julia Eve.

mathanxiety · 23/01/2012 22:50

Tessa

letthembe · 23/01/2012 22:38

I love the name Xanthe, just because it starts with an X - so cool! Sorry I digress... like Tessa, not so keen on Tara.

sunshinemummy2012 · 23/01/2012 22:37

Oh how lovely, your family has all three!

OP posts:
ReneeVivien · 23/01/2012 22:32

I cannot possibly give an objective opinion given that three of those names belong to me, my mum and my auntie!

sunshinemummy2012 · 23/01/2012 22:24

Oh no, many testicle jokes! Not ideal...

Tessa Smile

fishyonadishy · 23/01/2012 20:18

Love Tessa and Tess.

Be warned though that the only Tess I've ever known was subjected to many , many testicle jokes.

Ephiny · 23/01/2012 19:08

Tara (Eve) is my favourite, but I agree doesn't work well with Richard. I have a name that's difficult to say due to too many Rs, and it's awful when you struggle to say your own name!

Tessa just sounds a bit nickname-ish to me. Julia is lovely though and goes with your surname well. Also it works better with Eve in my opinion, due to the extra syllable.

AnonymousBird · 23/01/2012 19:04

Tessa, for sure. Tessa does not run into Eve when spoken aloud, too awkward, but does run nicely into Julia.

TJR.... not aware that those initials cause any issue or embarrassment (always worth a quick think/check!)

Pretty name.
