I love the name kit for a boy, thinking of the full name - can only think of christopher - which is ok but not too exciting.. Any other thoughts?

christopher I think

Blatherskite · 14/01/2012 20:35

The Kit I know is a Christopher.

dementedma · 14/01/2012 21:32

definitely short for Christopher

My son is named Kester and I use the nn Kit (though not too often as my DH dislikes it).

My OH wanted Kit for our boy in the end we went for Jake though. If we had chosen Kit it would have just been Kit and not short for anything else. I think Kit as a stand along name is fine. Go for it

Christian too.

Another vote for Christopher.

KnockDiddyKnockKnock · 27/01/2012 08:03

I love Kit. Don't think it necessarily needs to be short for anything.

CuppaTeaJanice · 27/01/2012 08:06

Christopher
Christian
Kester
Kitson

Those are the only ones I can think of. Although Kit is nice on its own.

Officially it is Christopher, but you could use it for whatever you like really if it makes sense to you.
