i am fairly early on in pregnancy with dc2, but i can think of no names i like whatsoever.

dh has made umpteen suggestions, i either dislike them or they don't go with the middle & surname. i like to know in advance what i'm calling the baby, makes it seem more real to me.

so, suggestions for both genders please :)

forgot to say, our surname begins with an "r", so all "r" names are out, too.

erm, i don't like old fashioned names, like arthur, florence, etc but at the same time, i'm not keen on names like mackenzie, chantelle, etc. i don't like any "z" names whatsoever.

i don't really like ds's name (dh picked it) i wanted to call him cain. i love the name, but couldn't use it this time as to me thats what ds should be called.
for a girl i liked mischa (pronounced meesh-kaa, not mee-sha) but i've went off it.

i love lillith, but dh can't say it, so thats out.

problem is that middle name is my maiden name, and is italian, so it has to go with that, as well as the surname.

What sort of things do/don't you like, and why? Do you like classic or modern names, long or short, unusual or popular?
