But I do sympathise as am having similar problems, I desperately want to use my grandad's name as a middle name, but it's one of those blasted engines, and most of the first names I like are also bloody trains. But i have a 3 year old ds who is obsessed with Thomas the tank, to someone without that constant association it might sound ok.
