hattie or cecily? what do you prefer?

Cant say Hattie grows on me but Harriet, Cecilia and Celia are lovely as are the 3 children i know named as them.

I like Hattie and would assume it was a nickname for Harriet (you'd be telling people "no, it's not short for Harriet quite a lot!)

Cecily is a bit prim and lispy for me, although I do like Cecilia.

I have a Harriet so I'm a bit biased :) But if it's a choice between Hattie which is too nicknamey for me, or Cecily, then I'd go for Cecily.
