So we have a few name which we absolutley love but which ones are your favourites/are most useable? We really do love them all and tbh I don't believe in the whole 'wait until you see them' thing as our first two DC didn't look like any particular name when they were born! So what do you think of these combinations?

Honor Philippa
Claudia Ivy
Elsa Beatrice

Corin Felix
Bay Finton
Bruno Cassius

Oh and DC are Jeremiah Henry and Saskia Austen if that helps at all :)

I like them - My favourites are Claudia and Corin, although I think Claudia Beatrice sounds nicer than Claudia Ivy. The only one I'm not sure about is Bruno Cassius - is it a deliberate boxing theme?

blobtobetter · 23/11/2011 18:52

I like Bay Fenton rather than Finton.

Beatrice is a pretty name.

scarlettlips · 23/11/2011 19:00

{waves to veggie}

Naturally you'll not be surprised with me voting for Honor Philippa Wink

Beatrice and Claudia are also lovely. Not sure about Ivy with Claudia but that's just me..what about Violet? Elsa is sweet..Eliza Beatrice? Just chucking it out there...best of luck..let us know what you go with!

Bruno Cassius rocks..!!! DO IT Grin x

MrsOzz · 23/11/2011 19:17

Bruno!! Definitely Bruno!

I think Honor and Bruno sit well together. But so does Claudia (and Clara!)

I would have Bruno Corin & Clara Beatrice (BC & CB lol)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/11/2011 19:42

Claudia Beatrice would be my combo of choice.

Don't like any of the boys' names, sorry.

Collision · 23/11/2011 19:45

Deffo to Claudia Beatrice and not Ivy.

Jeremiah, Saskia and Cassius Bruno (not keen on Bruno as a first name)

Jeremiah, Saskia and Claudia (tho a bit samey. Think you could do with a shorter girl name that does not end in a)

Jeremiah, Saskia and Imogen

Grace
Isabelle
Romilly

I love Corin Felix, and also Honor Philippa.

I'd be careful of Claudia, just because if I were the boy (whichever name you pick) I'd feel a bit left out that my siblings' names all ended in A/AH (Honor I think is just far enough to be acceptable). It's not a big thing, but just seems like the sort of thing a sulky child might pick up on if they're having a moody sort of day.

My family have "theme" names (not deliberately) apart from for my DSis, and I know she sometimes feels a bit left out.

I love your other DC names though - especially Austen as a middle name.

veggieburger · 23/11/2011 20:35

Thanks for the suggestions - I do like Claudia Beatrice but I have a bit of a thing about first name and middle name having the same number of sylables! I know Corin Felix does but that has slipped under the radar :o

Elsa Beatrice and Corin Felix are both fab :)

BibiBelle · 23/11/2011 22:54

Claudia Beatrice and Corin Felix
FAB combos Smile

MelinaM · 23/11/2011 23:12

Ohhh this is tricky, I love Bay and Corin, hmm both?Grin

Claudia is my favourite for you DD, closely followed by HonorSmile

Trixxie89 · 23/11/2011 23:18

Honor Beatrice and Corin Felix. I think Bruno is more of a pet's name- it's funky but I couldn't imagine a baby called Bruno or a business man or a granddad but that is just me. I love your other DC's names though :)

tummytickler · 24/11/2011 09:35

Honor and Corin.
All your boys names are lovely, actually, so any of them, but Corin is my favourite.
Not keen on Beatrice. Claudia is nice enough, but Honor is gorgeous.

NewsClippings · 24/11/2011 12:03

I like Honor Philippa - or how about Beatrice Ivy or Ivy Beatrice?

Also like Corin Felix - or how about Felix Corin or Cassius Felix?

FellatioNelson · 24/11/2011 12:06

I adore them all! that never happens. Confused

not so fussed about some of the second names and I would swap some of the combinations around personally, but I think you have superb taste in names.

Elsa was always on my list for a girl but I had three boys so never got to use it.

MuddlingThroughItAll · 24/11/2011 18:31

Veggie I totally agree with the sylable thing - somehow DS1 ended up with a 2 sylable first and second name and it drives me insane! However from your list I do love Corin Felix, or you could have Corin Bay instead? For girls I like Honor Philippa but agree that Honor Beatrice would be beautiful. Else Beatrice is also lovely :)

veggieburger · 24/11/2011 22:05

Thanks for replies, this naming thing is tough :o
