Boring, boring I know, but I an due in 6 weeks and struggling to decide on a boys name (dong know the sex, we've chosen Martha for a girl). We'll probably only reach a decision after the birth, but I'd appreciate some feedback on the shortlist as it may help us to narrow it down a little beforehand.

Our DS is called George and we have a two syllable surname starting with K.

Our first choice would be Robin, but we stupidly used this for DS's middle name.

Rory
Fraser
Adam
Seth
Toby
Benjamin
Leo

Rory is nice.
Hate Fraser
Love Adam.
Love Seth even more.
Not fond of Toby
Benjamin is very nice.
Leo is ok.

Thanks for the comments. Seth seems to be one of the names people really like or dislike. Other names a bit so.

I do like all of the names but none really stands out. Don't know how we'll choose! But then I felt that way when we chose george's name and after a while I couldn't imagine him having another name.

Oh i absolutely love Seth - DS3 was that for about ten mins before we decided it didn't suit him.

However, i think Leo or Benjamin woul work better with your DS's name.

sonniebonnie · 06/11/2011 07:31

Love Fraser - classic underused name that goes well with George.

Thanks mellowcat. They're both recent additions to the list, i just discovered that my great grandfather was called Leopold which got me thinking about the name.

Fraser we both like, but weren't sure if it was a bit odd to use this with having no Scottish/Celtic connections (same goes for Rory).

I think they are all nice, but especially like Leo and Fraser.

Meant to say, thanks in advance, and also scuse the typos!
