Is it particularly Balamory/CBeebies names you're after?

CupOfBrownJoy · 11/01/2012 19:48

Archie, Noah - nice enough, not terribly exciting
Spencer - wet, horrid
Sid - a dog's name

diddl · 11/01/2012 19:40

Like Noah best.

I always wanted an Oscar and a Felix.

I like Jonah as suggested.

Toby?
Jethro?

squeak2392 · 10/01/2012 18:32

Spencer's a name I've always loved, but I'd never have the courage to use it myself.

If it were me, he'd be Noah. Archie and Sidney are alright, but they don't appeal to me.

Arthur (Arty) or Stanley?

Italiangreyhound · 09/01/2012 00:35

Noah - I love it, I only know of one vaguely who I have not actually met but I have heard of others.
Archie - it's not my cup of tea, I think I only know one in real life
Spencer - it's not my cup of tea, I know non in real life
Sid - I love it, I only know one in real life

So well done, that you picked 4 names not so well used, but at the ed of the day you should go with what you like even if it is popular, in my humble opinion.

Congratulations.

The only one I like from your list is Noah.

tammytoby · 08/01/2012 21:57

No, not Oscar and Felix Grin!

(not only the cat-dog combo but also the Odd Couple)

CrotchFlakes · 08/01/2012 21:39

Of your list I like Sid best.

Oscar and Lucas
Oscar and Isaac
Oscar and Gideon
Oscar and Lawrence
Oscar and Zachary
Oscar and Peter
Oscar and Edwin

smogwod · 08/01/2012 21:33

Was going to suggest Felix, then unfortunately thought of a pet food theme Wink

How about Louis? Or if you like traditional Edward or James?

Of yours Noah is definitely my favourite (not that keen on surname/firstnames or
abbreviated names)

Noah and love Jonah, as suggested earlier in thread.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/01/2012 21:12

Only like Noah. Spencer is terrible imho and I really don't like Archie/Alfie type names.

PreHeatedOven · 08/01/2012 21:10

Noah sounds lovely

wheredidiputit · 08/01/2012 21:09

Out of all of them I prefer Archie.

I have my dad name was David but he was always known as Sidney or Sid.

rachel234 · 08/01/2012 21:06

Archie is overdone imo and Noah sounds a little feminine to me. I like Spencer and Sidney best.

greenday11 · 08/01/2012 21:02

I like Archie a lot even though it is popular (not necessarily a bad thing just means a lot of people share your taste Smile)

I also like Sid although am wondering if Sidney is now more of a girls name Hmm

SilkStalkings · 08/01/2012 20:46

Noah and Sid, Spencer's a bit 80s for my liking.

There's an awful lot of exclamation marks on this threadHmm. Don't remember it being a symptom of pregnancy myselfGrin.

newbiemama · 07/01/2012 21:53

Oh my goodness! I am due so very soon and still very undecided! YIKES! I was so set on Noah and now my DH has, not so conveniently, said that he is no longer keen on Noah (I'm still hoping he will change his mind)!!

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I forgot to mention before that we already have an Oscar so it has to sound good with that!

I like Noah and Sid.

SecondToughestInTheInfants · 03/11/2011 12:59

Noah and Archie are too common. I LOVE Sid. DD would have been Stan if she came out a DS - do you like that?

largeginandtonic · 03/11/2011 12:52

Noah is sweet, popular though. What about Jonah?

Far too many Archie's around atm.

Sausagesarenottheonlyfruit · 03/11/2011 12:46

Noah or Spencer, although they are very different types of name. Which one feels more 'you'?

cumbria81 · 03/11/2011 12:44

I hate them all.

gitinora · 03/11/2011 12:40

noah

proudfoot · 02/11/2011 23:35

Noah
