Ivy's little brother and sister

Morning all!
My daughter is called Ivy. I adore the name - to me it's sweet and girlie yet also sassy and not common these days, but is a REAL old school name. I'm struggling to find any names that I like as much for a potential brother or sister. I'd welcome any suggestions! For girls I like Pippa/Pip and Martha, for a boy I'm not sure. I like Rafferty/Raffy but wouldn't use it. Any other suggestions?

Ivy and Fergus is a great combination. How about Ivy and Nora/Eleanor, Ivy and Lily/Lillian, Ivy and Faye, Ivy and Violet, Ivy and Fern, Ivy and Sorrell. Ivy is on my shortlist as well and I think it is just lovely.
As said above for a boy I like Ivy and Fergus, Ivy and Jago, Ivy and Tobias, Ivy and Theo, Ivy and Rupert, Ivy and Leonard, Ivy and Arlo, Ivy and Seth.

Not Holly Wink Ada?

scarevola · 16/10/2011 13:42

oscarlet: Ivy's son had to be on the list! It's such a Coronation Street name and it would be apt to keep the theme going.

ellesabe · 16/10/2011 13:41

How about Audrey? And Basil?

I'm trying to persuade dh that Ivy is a good name to use for our dc3 due next year. We also have a Sadie & a Kitty.

Our lovely next door neighbour while growing up was called Ivy. She had sisters called Kitty and Meg. They were the nicest old ladies you could ever have met.

Her husband was Donald.

Haha - I seriously considered Ivy for my 9 week old DD but went with something else in the end. Maybe it's becoming more popular than we thought Grin.

I know a couple of Ivys - love it - one has Ian has a brother and the other has a Ralf.
I also like Ada but it would probably be shortened to Aids to by accident.

puddle2 · 13/10/2011 16:11

I like Ada but OH thinks she would be Aids for short.
