When you were a child/teen what baby name were you going to 'definitely' use for future DC's?

...And did any of you actually use them?

You have to put the rough year too, so we can spot the trends, if any.

Me:

1991 (I was ten) I wanted Kylie and Trystin. Yes spelled like that. And Kylie had a heart above the 'i'. Ahem

1996 (fifteen) I wanted Phoebe Luna (had an interest in astronomy) and Maxwell Jordan.

Still love Phoebe now, the others...not so much!

I was going to have a ds called Jamie. I have a James so close enough. I was going to use my birth surname as his middle name and I did. I was going to have 4 boys and hadn't decided on the other 3 names. I've has two dds instead.

I liked Tiegan and Finn (Home and Away, late 80s/early 90s)

I loved the name Nicholas for as long as I can remember, it is now DS1's name

BirdoftheNorth Bailey was one of mine too! Loved Party of Five. And going on the theme Neeve!

Phoebe (there was a series of books for teenagers with a set of sisters Cassie was one of the others C1993)
Freya (1998, I discovered the auther Freya North around then)
Liberty (c1995)
Georgia
And I always had fantasies about being called Tallulah myself (musical theatre brat with a love of Bugsy Malone :o)

Ruairdhi and Fraser were both on the short list for DS, but we went with another rather Scottish name! Phoebe was my pick had he been a girl!

1987 Amy, (still think this is a pretty name but got no where near to using it!) Loved Christopher aka Chris. Thought it was SOOO cool! Seems so dated now!

1994 I was 10, my sis and I had a huge row about who was going to call their daughter Tiffany. Decided I would get that privilege as I am the oldest and would have children first :o

When I was about 14 (mid 90's), my favourite names were Holly, Heidi and Oliver. I wouldn't use any of them now.

Early 80s (I was about 10) Helen and John

Early 90's Harley and Saffron for girls Blush or Jacob for a boy.

Thankfully I didn't have children until a decade later and didn't use any of the above :)

I was going to have 2 girls and 2 boys and call them Marissa and Louisa, and Declan and Ethan.

In reality I have a Lauren, Chloe and Harry.

When I was about 10 I thought Patricia was the prettiest name. Or Janet. And that was the late 80's/early 90's. Good grief. I think I'll have some other names if ever lucky enough to have a dd.

Red, Levi or Ziggy for a boy. Celeste or Isabella for a girl. I still really like Celeste but it wouldn't go with our surname.
