Hi, i would love all your opinions please! My favourite is Clara, however im Claire and sometimes get called Clara, also my husband is not too keen on Clara. He loves Annabelle, which i like too however im worried that people will always be wondering how to spell it and it will get abbreviated. Ive always liked Eliza and my husband has just come round to it, not sure if im bullying him into it though :) Im due in two weeks and havent got a clue! I like solid classic names. x

I like Clara best but think it is too similar to your name. Annabelle would be my next choice then Eliza.

Capitaltrixie · 28/09/2011 20:56

Eliza is lovely (sorry - not keen on Clara), but Annabel is very pretty too.

thanks everyone x

CLARA is lovely!

ShoutyHamster · 27/09/2011 11:39

Annabelle terrible. Cutesy and crap.

Anna fab.

Clara the best of your choices - Clara Anna? Anna Clara?

How about Anna, with Annie as a nn? That's what I'd go for - and it fits with your others.

Sorry, not keen on Eliza - just don't like the sound.

Meteorite · 27/09/2011 11:30

Annabel Clara would be lovely :)

airborne · 27/09/2011 11:24

Eliza.

If you are still stuck or can't agree, how about a combination : Anneliese/Annalisa/Anneliza (the last more unusual spelling might be problem though)

Crumbletopping · 27/09/2011 08:50

Eliza and Clara both lovely choices.

EsmeWatson · 27/09/2011 06:18

Eliza goes so well with your other DDs names. I like Clara too but is perhaps a bit too similar to your name. Annabel is ok but only with this spelling.

bloombloombell · 26/09/2011 19:41

Papyrus, what a coincidence :)

Grrrr my husband has said he has now completely gone off Eliza! Now thinking Annabel/belle and Clara as a middle name. Maybe i should just be a bully and insist on my fav Eliza, after all its going to me going through all the pain!

Eliza. Clara is nice but far too similar to your name.

Papyrus · 26/09/2011 15:20

I have an Eliza, Anna (Annie) and Clara - you have very good taste in names Grin.

MrsRupertBear · 26/09/2011 14:14

I have got an Annabel, who is often gets called Annie. I love her name and chose it because I think it has got lots of lovely shortenings.

PuppyMonkey · 25/09/2011 14:53

Eliza.

End of.

pilates · 25/09/2011 14:52

Clara and Eliza are my favourites, probably would go for Eliza as Clara quite similar to your name.

themightyskim · 25/09/2011 12:53

Im sorry but I dont like Clara at all makes me think of old ladies (sorry if thats offensive im only giving you insight in to my daft head) I love Eliza and Annabelle though :)

Dolallytats · 25/09/2011 12:32

Annabel or Clara....not too keen on Eliza. Or, like Chesspiece says, what about Belle. I have a niece called Belle & it really suits her.

dearheart · 25/09/2011 12:29

Clara!

serin · 25/09/2011 11:44

Eliza (but i do like them all).

PixieCake · 25/09/2011 11:22

What about Clarabel?

ChessPiece · 24/09/2011 23:03

How about simply Anna or even Belle?

NadiaWadia · 24/09/2011 23:02

Clara is lovely, but too similar to your own name, don't you think? A middle name, maybe.

Overall I'd suggest Annabel. The 'belle' ending is a bit too frilly?

Eliza yes quite nice.

Annabel Clara?

IHeartKingThistle · 24/09/2011 23:00

All lovely. Annabel as the spelling though, please!

Xavielli · 24/09/2011 22:58

They'll not always be lumped together as a sibling set. I think all 3 are lovely names in their own right and do follow a similar style. Wouldn't bother me personally :)

brodanbell · 24/09/2011 22:58

just realised, there is an Annie & Clarabel in Thomas the Tank Engine, so Annie Clara or Annabel Clara might be a bit similar?
