So after months of wallowing in the shit-we-have-no-ideas abyss, DH announces yesterday that he has decided that Draco is the perfect name for our little'un. He is now set on it and to be honest I'm so tired of arguing that I'm quite willing to go with it. It is quite cool. Are we mental? Shall we just call him "boy" and be done with it? Where is the tomato puree? I just don't know anymore.

You can't call a baby Draco, it is made up and everyone will think you are wierd for using a name from a kid's film.

How about Drake or Drew instead?

SanctiMoanyArse · 19/09/2011 17:49

DH went through a phase of anting to all ds1 Anakin. That was a crap* idea too.

Seriously, there are millions of names about: I have 4 boys and there are still names I would have liked to have used. You will find one.

  • If the mother of the little boy alled Anakin in the park a few months abck is here sorry if I offended you but really, why?

It is not cool - it is the name of a character from the most popular films/childrens books of all times.

And it's not a NAME - it's like Dragon misspelt or Drake misspelt.

Call him Drake (if you must) but please, not Draco.

FairyArmadillo · 19/09/2011 17:46

Sorry, but I think "boy" sounds better than Draco.

Yes, it is bonkers.

Really, utterly bonkers.
