Love Jared, it was on my list!

Gabriel is a bit of a wet fish of a name.

PrettyCandles · 16/09/2011 17:09

Gabriel - like.

Jared - dislike. The sound of jarrs, it even looks like jarred.

(Even my iPhone doesn't like it: autocorrects Jared to Jaded!)

Love Gabriel. Sorry but Jared has 'chavvy' connotations for me.

Def Jared, a nice strong name.

Gabriel is wet and the possibility of being teased with a nickname Gay.

MamaLazarou · 16/09/2011 14:44

Jared. Gabriel is namby-pamby. Jared is strong.

comedaygoday · 16/09/2011 14:17

Gabriel.

MrsOzz · 16/09/2011 13:52

Jared, because I HATE the Gabriel. I won't even say its because of unreasonable reasons! It's just awful!

But each to their own.

BerryLellow · 16/09/2011 11:56

Like both

dottyaboutstripes · 16/09/2011 11:54

No contest. Gabriel. It's a top, top, TOP name :)

Really dislike Jared, sorry.

Clary · 16/09/2011 00:12

I like Gabriel tho I do think it's a brave choice. Kids may think it's a girl's name; DS2 was the Angel Gabriel in a school nativity one year and some kids asked why he was playing a girl's part Hmm that's just their ignorance tho of course.

I know a baby Gabriel and he is lovely!

Jared is the name of a lazy and workshy student I know at a school I worked at so for that reason I am not keen.

MelinaM · 16/09/2011 00:09

Gabriel, Gabriel, Gabriel!!! Smile

randomness · 15/09/2011 23:57

Jared: love it.
Gabriel: dislike, tainted by experience of a far-from-angel-Gabriel in dd's class though so am biased.

ohfuschia · 15/09/2011 23:39

Gabriel

Kayano · 15/09/2011 23:31

stripygiraffe · 15/09/2011 22:48
