Heard this name on Cbeebies birthday time yesterday. Toyed with it for my daughter's middle name last year but went for something else in the end. I really like it and it seems to be unusual. What do people think?

I'm not keen on it, I think it sounds a bit prim.

I don't think it sounds unusual because there is a bit of fashion for Elle names like Ella, Ellie, Eloise, Elle etc but there probably isn't too many Ellens.

I like it - is it unusual at the moment? (I suppose there's more Eleanors around and tons of Ellies)
