Before I hack my own head off, never mind my awkward DH's. If I don't choose a name soon I may explode with fury!

Lydia

DessieLou · 12/09/2011 20:14

Lydia, definately! Georgia in second place. Smile

I love the sound of Emilia but prefer Amelia. Emilia makes me think of a New Zealander saying Amelia.

CurwySwide · 12/09/2011 18:32

Georgia - the best by a long way

Kayano · 12/09/2011 17:47

Georgia - NN Georgie

brodanbell · 12/09/2011 17:43

Lydia is one of my favourite names for a girl, so it gets my vote. Quite like Lyds, Lyddie for nn as well.
Followed in close second by Georgia, which is also on my list, just a bit further down.
Emilia doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid.

Lydia.

Georgia is alright though.

Emilia has the Amelie/Amelia issue though.

ExpensivePants · 12/09/2011 13:59

Emilia - 1
Georgia - 3
lydia - 2

Confused :o

Georgia or Georgina

LetThereBeRock · 12/09/2011 13:43

Georgia. I like all of them though, which isn't very helpful.

tammytoby · 12/09/2011 13:43

I prefer Lydia.

Emilia is very widely used already, as is Emily, Amelia, Amelie etc. Georgia just reminds me of the US state.

MrsOzz · 12/09/2011 13:41

Georgia!

I don't like Lydia or lyds as a nn.
Emilia will forever be 'no not Amelia, like Emily with IA instead of the Y' plus it's everywhere!!

Leanbh2011 · 12/09/2011 13:40

I prefer Emilia. Best of luck with your decision!
