They don't need to be too unique or unusual, just nice!

zozzle · 12/09/2011 22:10

sorry meant to type "surprised" spelt correctly!

zozzle · 12/09/2011 22:09

Love all the above - can't use most of them as are all in my family already! Love Naomi and Ruth. Think Suzannah is biblical too.

Suprised no one has mentioned "Zoe" - not a character as such but means "life" in Greek so used loads in New Testament in original Greek to refer to eternal life! So I definitely see it as a biblical name.

Also love Esther, Lois and Phoebe.

Rebecca if you want biblical I would go with Rebekah.

I love Mary, Anne, Elizabeth (very very NT there) and afraid my grasp of OT is very very basic so Eve?

Jezebel :P

How can something be "too Biblical"? Confused It's either in the Bible or it's not.

Rebecca, Miriam, Sarah and Hannah all nice.

Adina, Artemis, Bethany, Adah, Chloe, Eden, Edna, Eva, Faith, Grace, Hope, Joanna, Joy, Judith, Julia, Lillian, Lois, Olive, Paula, Ruby, Sapphira, Tamara, Victoria, Zina

Dammit, Hepzibah is the one I was trying to think of! It's lovely, and Hepzie is a really cute nickname.

comedaygoday · 08/09/2011 22:26

Jemima, Hepzibah , Deborah , Zipporah, Eve.

MayMummy11 · 08/09/2011 21:51

Noa

acatcalledfelix · 08/09/2011 21:51

I really like Rebecca, but don't think DH is too keen for some reason. We did love Ruth but I've slowly gone off it. He likes Rachel, but I'm not a big fan.
Def not Mary, too biblical for my liking!

Esther, hmmmm, interesting....
