As you may have seen I origionally posted last night about suggestions for names to go with my 4 DC (Dexter, Nicholas, Sid and Poppy). Having come looked at some of the suggestions and other posts around MN we have come up with some ideas - feedback is very welcome!

Chester and Lennox
Dorian and Eric
Kit and Leon
Theo and Tor
Constantine and Arlo

What do you think? Similar suggestions are also welcome as is any other suggestions of what names go together :)

Unless you want to lock his picture up in the attic that is ! :-)

But, that said if you really love it then use it. He's your little boy. You've been really blessed xx

Please dont use Dorian.

upatdawn · 11/09/2011 11:59

collision, we were very shocked but also very excited! Out of our 4 DC our oldest is 20 and we already have 15yo twin boys!

Chynah we are definitely thinking of them as individuals and are specifically looking for names that don't sound like matching pairs

please think of them as individuals rather than needing a matching pair of names.

Chester and Lennox
Dorian and Eric
Kit and Leon
Theo and Tor
Constantine and Arlo

I think I like Theo and Kit.

Theo and Tor are a bit samey. Constantine is a mouthful and not keen on Arlo but love Alfio (italian)

sorry to change the subject but HOW SHOCKED were you when you found out you were having twins after having 4 children??

I-would-have-collapsed

aquashiv · 10/09/2011 19:26

I have twin boys too. They are fabulous, good luck.
I like the way you havent gone matching.

aquashiv · 10/09/2011 19:25

Chester and Arlo

jandymaccomesback · 10/09/2011 15:07

Dacshund over the road is called Chester...

birdofthenorth · 10/09/2011 14:14

I like Lennox and Kit best!

seren82 · 10/09/2011 13:20

I like Chester and Lennox. Don't like Dorian. What about Jed and Theo?

dreamer79 · 09/09/2011 20:34

Oooh, Leon and Eric sound great together!

MissWilde · 08/09/2011 21:40

Dorian and Eric are great!

autumngirl231 · 08/09/2011 17:29

I think that, although I like most of the names, Constantine is a bit flash next to them so to use it you would need another long name that could be shortened.

Eg Constantine and Leonardo (Stan and Leo)

upatdawn · 08/09/2011 16:44

Thanks all, it is really difficult! GlaikitFizzog Constantine would probably be nicknamed Stan? Hadn't really thought about it much.

Another vote for Eric. Not that keen on the other names, but it sounds best with Leon, so I would go with that!

sonniebonnie · 08/09/2011 12:45

I love Constantine (Conty) and Arlo.

Rowena8482 · 08/09/2011 11:27

I know a Tor, it's short for Torben which I think is Scandinavian. His brother was Alf.

Cereal · 08/09/2011 11:03

I like Lennox, Eric, Leon, Theo and Arlo. This is one from each of your pairs so I'd make other combinations - most of these would go well together.

Hedwig3 · 08/09/2011 10:39

Kit and Eric

MelinaM · 07/09/2011 23:28

Eric, Leon and here too, fabSmile

I do rather like Dorian though ..but it does remind me of Birds of a Feather!

GlaikitFizzog · 07/09/2011 22:46

I like Chester and Lennox, think they go best withyour other DCs.

I like Arlo, but Constantine is and bit meh to me. What would you shorten that to? Con, Connie, Tante? Kit and Arlo go well together.

God I was bad enough naming 1 DS (Blair if you are interested!! Wink) Good luck!!

autumngirl231 · 07/09/2011 22:39

My vote's for Eric and Leon - they sound good together without being matchy.
