Kaiya or Tyra?

It has been sooo difficult to find a name for this baby!

Dp and I have about 10 names each but we don't like any of each others names.

One of dp's is kaiya which I do like but probably not enough, plus I can't find a definite meaning and meanings mean a lot to me (too many means in that sentence)

Just tonight we have come up with Tyra which I think is really nice and (shock horror) he agrees!

So I kinda wanna judge peoples reactions to Tyra as we literally came up with it 10 mins ago and also which name you like best. Thank you

Kaia is similar to Kaiya and means pure in Greek or echo in Estonian.

Tyra means God in Norse, but it just reminds me of that model Tyra Banks who I don't like.

Like Leila the most out of the 3 you mentioned, it means night beauty in Arabic, shame he doesn't like it, have you asked him the reason for the veto?

I prefer Kyra, probably because I know a lovely girl by the same name!!

Oh. Dear.

Ok, going to be honest.

Kaiya is not good. Too many vowels, starts with a K.

Tyra is slightly better but still a no from me.

What are the names that each of you like?

NoNoNoMYDoIt · 28/08/2011 21:29

when you say you 'came up with' Tyra, what do you mean? did you make it up?

MrsRhettButler · 28/08/2011 21:28

As an aside I would like Leila but he has totally vetoed it :(
