Don't think you could guarantee being the only Kitty, Freya, Darcy, Thea or Tegan in a class.

Liberty/Tigerlily - not really a fan

Mimi - quite sweet but isn't it a word for grandmother? Maybe as a nickname for something? Just in case she wants to be a judge or the prime minister or something (sorry for the cliche)

Fenella - like this, reminds me of an Enid Blyton book set in a circus.

Ailie - Like. Prefer it spelled Eilidh but realise that this looks odd outside of Scotland and within Scotland is very popular.

Lydia - Like, don't think it's too common

Kyra - doesn't do it for me

Octavia - probably will be the only one but personally feel it's a bit poncey

Hanna - not as popular as you'd think.

Quite a lot of pot luck though, so pick something you genuinely like. Even an unusul name could have multiples in your school, conversely a popular one could be the only one.

I think Ailie and Fenella are the only ones that fit the bill from your list.

I would say not Darcy, Thea, Kitty, Freya or Lydia.
You stand a reasonable chance (round here anyway) of having one in a class at school

Pretty much any name which is not currently in the top 100 girls names should be ok......

Kyra - I like it (prefer it Kira though) but would people think you misspelt Ciara even though they are very very seperate names

Kitty - People may think it's actuallt Katherine. But I really like it as a name
Freya - getting more popular I think. Don't like
Lydia - they may be the only one and yet people will still be able to say it. A win win

As somes who as always been the only one in class - it is great. As long as people can actually pronounce it.

A few of your names are quite popular, Freya, Kitty and Lydia. Chances are they will be the only ones in a class of 30, but they are not uncommon names at the moment. If its really important to you, try Janet, Linda, and Patricia :)

Mimi is common nn for Jemima, and that is a name on the up.
irl, I don't know anyone (under 11) called: Callie (Blakes7 fan are you?), Darcy, Octavia, Ailie, or Fenella (that's a type of pasta, right?).

I thought DC3 would have a rare name... none in school so far, but TWO others in nursery, sheesh. And people still don't know how to spell it right, and mix it up with only vaguely similar names. There's a reason DC4 has a very boring name like "John".

Obviously you can't say for definite, but some of those I would say are quite common/popular so if you want the name to be more rare then would not go for darcy, kitty, freya, hanna, tegan, cos i have come across quite a few of those so seem quite well used to me

Who knows?! And as you are only in 'a class' for your primary education are you really going to name her based on 7 years out of a lifetime that could see her live into her 100's?!

But I agree with boo, please don't call her tigerlily - although I'm fairly certain she'll be the only one, you'll also be singled out in the staffroom as the parent who called her tigerlily! :)

On a more serious note, she's your daughter, choose the name you like, don't overthink it.

How on earth will you know this without a crystal ball? A name is not yours to stake a claim to. But please, please not Tigerlilly or Mimi. If only to save them the embarassment of not being the only stripper of that name in the club.
