Fourth son - need a Scottish name. Used three already-help!

So we're onto either Lachlan or Brodie for this one but I'm looking for more suggestions. We already have a Euan, Callum and a Fergus. I had dismissed Innes but heard it in a shop today and quite liked it.

Im stuck - poor we'd Fergus was nameless for 10 days - I want to get this one cracked before he pops out.

I know a Fulton, Arran , Lewis, Innes and his brother Hamish, Ruaridh, Struan, Col(as in Isle of..), Angus(shortened to Gus), Duncan, Blair and Finlay.

We are considering Cameron and Lewis.

The only Brodies iv ever known have been female. Although it can be used for male as well

Lots of innes's around here -definately a boys name.
I knew 2 brothers called Ramsay and Nairn.
What about Moray, Blair, Murdo, callain, Finlay, Hamish, Ruriadh, Eoghain, Cameron, Mack, Lewis, Morgan, Mitchell, Aaron, Fraser ?

I love Lockhart.

I liked Alastair (DH didn't).

We went with Angus.

Same with Alistair most people spell Alasdair here and is pronounced as such(soft d, compared to a hard t) Speaking from experience Wink the name of Lachlan is pronounced as Lacklan in the US. Agh!

Innes, (Innis) has always been a male name around here, but am aware that Ines (pants can't figure out how do acutes etc, Inez ) is a French name but is pronounced very differently.

ps. lachlan is v popular in oz and nz and they will pronounce as lochlan.

Haha! No, it's the first half of my two eldest children's names stuck together... I wouldn't recommend it as a name!

Was thinking of boys names, do you think Lachlan Docherty (using the loch pronunciation, I think LAHK-Lin sounds like a strange bird noise!) is too ck- heavy?

Oooh, nice to know I'm not the only mumsnetter around here! I have to say I'm on shoogly ground with the Tony Blair thing, as I rejected Cameron 'cos of David Cameron (not really, just not keen, but it's a good excuse!) :)
