My dd goes to nursery with little girl called Halo - she is lovely and really suits it.

evenlessnarkypuffin · 10/08/2011 15:21

Only 'o's? Or just not 'a's? Names like Adele, Alison, Lucy, Heather etc wouldn't be too samey - I'm not suggesting the names, just saying there are other 'ending' options.

Bandwithering · 10/08/2011 15:10

Ok, I wouldn't use this,,,,,,, but Merlot. It is nice but unusable at the same time.

flaminglip · 10/08/2011 15:10

i think Margot is my very favourite name. Its impossible to say without sounding posh, like 'tomato'

Bandwithering · 10/08/2011 15:09

Amparo

Clio and Juno are lovely. Those'd make good twin names.

hulabula · 10/08/2011 15:06

In languages other than French Margot ends in a t, so Mar-gott.

It never gave my cousin Marina any trouble .....

birdofthenorth · 10/08/2011 10:38

Rather an abbreviation than a car! Smile

NattersAndMutters · 09/08/2011 16:29

I would go for Clio rather than Cleo. Clio is a Muse, whereas Cleo is an abbreviation Grin

iskra · 09/08/2011 14:57

I agree, it's a masculine ending for lots of names. I like Cleo though. Looking for a sister for Nina, unsure about having two -a names (my name is an -a name too)..
