When you hear Kit do you think of Christopher?

I hadn't occured to me before I read this board, but it looks like Kit's a short form of Christopher. DP has a Christopher/Chris already.

Will anyone notice do you think?

Sorry, the DH if a best mate is a Kit and everyone who knows him knows it's short for Christopher

I think of christopher but I know someone who has named their son Kit on birth cert.

Yes. But if no one uses Kit for the other person it shouldn't be a problem really?

Although I also think of my grandmother as her name was shortened to it (Kathleen)

I think most people know that Kit is short for Christopher or Christian. Sorry.
