Lachlan

Definitely Lachlan - sorry prefer that spelling too.

Unless Jackson is the son of Jack? Or if you have a link to the surname?

lynn7300 · 22/07/2011 19:00

I've never heard lochan. Is it a version of lochlan? I have taught 2 lochlans though I think in Scotland they spell it lachlan as do the Australians.

Jackson ok though!

Just to complecate things....Lochlan.

Jackson trips off the tongue more easily than Lochan.

RitaMorgan · 22/07/2011 18:57

Jackson is still nicer.

Lochlan/Lachlan by a mile.

Lochan reminds me of Lochia I'm afraid - is it a real name?

Of the two I'd go for Jackson.
