Hindu/Indian but also Westernised boys name

My partner is Indian and I am British and are expecting our first baby boy in a few weeks. His sister has come up with the only name so far that we can agree on; Aayan. As much as I like it I'm not feeling that it's 'the one'. So any suggestions please ladies, it doesn't have to be 100% Indian but I would like it to have some connection if possible. And neither do I want a completley British name such as James etc. We both want something unusual without it being weird...

Hindu/Western family have recently had 2 boys and called them:
Arun and Kiran - both sounds Western but with Indian spelling/meaning. I think they're great!

Oh yes, also Dylan (but already knew one so was out) and Romit (lots in our family so out also) are lovely names.

Hi - I'm hindu, DH is english. We went down english first name, hindu middle name route ultimately but our favourite work both ways ones were

Nikhil (DS2's middle name)
Rohan
Jay
Kiran (DS1's middle name)
Dev
Milan (which I loved but DH vetoed as being an issue if the boys looked v english - which they do - and people not realising the Hindu connection)
