Opinions please on Anna or Rosa. I'm 7 months pregnant and we like both Anna and Rosa as first names. We have a Tom already.

I love both, but slightly prefer Rosa today :)

Hi I have a 6 months old called Anna - it was ds choice in the end as we could not decide on any other name, have to say I love it even if I keep going back to think what if I had given her a more particular name... In Italy is super popular at the moment ( italians tend to like classic names, as opposed to different ones) and that bothers me a bit. I am always looking for a nice different nickname for when she is little. Given that she is Anna Vittoria what about Ottie ??

RugbyWidow7 · 20/07/2011 16:49

I prefer Rosa / Rosanna / Rosanne - but I am biased!

DeSelby · 20/07/2011 16:45

Thanks all, it seems pretty evenly split between the two! We are thinking of Elizabeth as a middle name (but open to suggestions!).

Surname is two syllable starting with B.

I have one of your choices (5 month old) and the other one is my sisters favourite baby name Grin. They are both lovely. But not a fan of Rosalie.

ShoutyHamster · 20/07/2011 11:38

Anna

Ulysses · 20/07/2011 11:23

I have a 16 week old Anna.

daimbardiva · 20/07/2011 11:15

Love both - Anna has the edge for me though

ragged · 20/07/2011 10:51

Anna I like a lot, and it isn't that common, either.
I don't like Rosa much.

zenoushka · 20/07/2011 10:42

Anna is really pretty.

birdofthenorth · 20/07/2011 01:03

Rosa. Or Rosalie.

SmilingKiwi · 19/07/2011 22:08

I love Anna. It's pretty but strong.

handsomeharry · 19/07/2011 22:01

I love Anna. It's a beautiful name.

Sinkingfeeling · 19/07/2011 21:58

I love both - Rosa would obviously be less common if that's important to you. What middle names are you thinking of?

Domesticbodess · 19/07/2011 21:55

You have great taste IMO. Both lovely - may be see what she looks like. Does one go better with your surname?

reastie · 19/07/2011 21:16

Mumbrane · 19/07/2011 21:10

Both lovely, but I prefer Rosa by a whisker.
