Recently really loving this name. Only 18 wks pg so plenty of time but just wondered what people's opinions are. Thanks.

My real name is Anne and I absolute hate it when people call me Annie! And have felt like this all of my life.

Maybe do what people are suggesting and just use it as a nickname. Mind you, I'm a bit old so perhaps a young one wouldn't mind.

Lovely :) I'd use Anne, Annabel or Anneliese on the birth certificate, with Annie for short.

I like it but then DD is Annabel and DS calls her Annie Smile

He also calls her Monkeychild but that's not so nice.

I like it.

If you are undecided I'd go with Anna on the birth cert because I feel like Anna can be nick named Annie, but it would be a little bit more of a leap to have an Annie called Anna.

But if you prefer Annie, ignore me and go with that. Annie is lovely.
