Can't choose a boys name :(

I really need some help as I can't think of any boys names that I love.

My surname is one syllable and begins with R. My dh loves the name Ryan. I don't hate it but don't think it sounds nice with surname.

A lot of the names I liked initially were vetoed by Dh as he once knew someone called that and they were 'insert random reason the person was to be disliked'.

Only 6 weeks to go and really need to come up with a short list. Help!

Ok, I'm thinking so far

Jacob
Duncan
Ethan

What do people think?

I can't use Jonah, but agree it is a fab name.

Does it matter of the child has the same initials as you?

Samual, lewis and James are close family names. Aidan has been rejected by Dh as it is too popular in Scotland. :( Liam was also vetoed.

Dh likes strong masculine names (old fashioned, but not in a good way). So something like Finlay is a no Confused.

Then I am your fairy godmother. Duncan, Gavin or Adrian.

Probably would lean towards more traditional names.
