My great grandmother's name was Ellen Elizabeth. She named her daughter, my grandmother Nelly Bessie! Ellen Elizabeth is imho opinion lovely. But my grandmother hated Nelly Bessie!

I'd choose Eleanor with nell for nn as i think its lovely and classic.

I love just Nell! Envy :) But DH isn't keen, so I'm trying to find a name he likes, but that I can shorten to Nell! x
