I wanted to call my son this but wasn't allowed. He would have suited it too.

chaya5738 · 08/06/2011 10:12

i like it :)

smable · 08/06/2011 09:16

kalo i'm also thinking of Bruno so obviously i love it,i've heard lots of dog/bear comments but to be honest i know more dogs called Jack than anyother name and no one ever says oh no Jack's a dogs name when meeting a child called it so really just think it's because people don't know any people called Bruno they only think of dogs but that would change once they knew a child called it.

otchayaniye · 08/06/2011 08:04

I love it. Would have used it for a boy.

meditrina · 07/06/2011 23:53

First thought: that's Joey's dog in the Chalet School books.

It might work on a human, though the only one I know in RL is Austrian, and I do think of it as a mainland European, rather than a Uk, name.

LetThereBeRock · 07/06/2011 23:40

Awful.

headfairy · 07/06/2011 21:50

I like Bruno, I have a cousin who's ds is a Bruno, she's Italian and her ds is one of those uber cute Italian boys with big brown eyes and long eyelashes and glossy black curls and it suits him to the ground and back up again.

FrumpyPumpy · 07/06/2011 21:49

I love it. Dh says no.

Geordieminx · 07/06/2011 21:49

frank. Or the film with sascha baron kohen in.

Not good.

MirandaGoshawk · 07/06/2011 21:49

Ditto quite like, but would depend on the child. Not one for a skinny blond.

Hassled · 07/06/2011 21:48

No. Bruno is a bear or a dog or some sort of aggressive boxer type.

No. Just no. Sorry.

LeChatRouge · 07/06/2011 21:48

Bruno.

I think of blonde curly hair, maybe a thumb sucker until 5ish. Big brown eyes. Quite studious, popular with friends. Fun to be around.

Probably fairly comfortable family, definitely two foreign holidays a year.

Eventually be something arty or medical.

MagdaMagyarMadam · 07/06/2011 21:48

Bruno was one of my faves when I was expecting twins - had dtds so not used and no chance in the future. I think it's a great name for a boy.

puffling · 07/06/2011 21:48

I really like it. If i'd had a boy it would have been a contender. No one I mentioned it to liked it though. All thought it was a dog's name.

BerylOfLaughs · 07/06/2011 21:47

Quite like it.

WishIWasRimaHorton · 07/06/2011 21:46

noooooooo

NickNacks · 07/06/2011 21:45

No I don't like it sorry.

LovelyDaffs · 07/06/2011 21:45

Fab.

Maternelle · 07/06/2011 21:45

No, sorry.

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 07/06/2011 21:45

Mt friend's son is called Bruno, it suits him. There will never be lots of them. But it makes me think of a bear!

ThatllDoPig · 07/06/2011 21:44

That film with the Borat guy in it.

onepieceofcremeegg · 07/06/2011 21:44

Not keen tbh. (but it's your baby :) )

whyme2 · 07/06/2011 21:44

No, not in my world. Sorry.
