Well title says it all really!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I haven't got the list to hand but the ONS produces a list of all baby names and how often they're used, by county and overall.

I know a couple of Chloes in our primary school.

I know none

feckwit · 07/06/2011 14:26

My daughter is Chloe and in the year she was born it was apparently the most popular name. Yet she's never been in class with another one!

Chloe is very popular and has been for the past 20 + years. It was number 1 in 1998 and I think it stayed up there for quite a while before being knocked off by Olivia. The ONS says there were 4479 Chloe's born last year when it was at number 3. It is actually getting more popular as it was at no.6 the year before. I think Chloe is a lovely name, I do know quite a few Chloe's, some who are in their late 20's, a teenager and a few under 5.

Try a different spelling if you are worried about popularity. My friend's lil bub is called Clo-ay.

mypersonalfavourite · 07/06/2011 16:31

Was number 1 with jack for years and years.

No I don't know any, my children are 7 and 10.

There were trillions about 10 yrs ago. It's slipping slowly down the charts now, but it's still very very popular.

Do not listen to Hullygully. She knows not of what she speaks. Grin

Don't be silly hully.

You know that Kloweigh is the alternative spelling.

Chloe/kloee whatever, it is a meh name.

GetOrf · 07/06/2011 16:53

I think hully should change her name to Hul-Leigh Gullee

Bucharest · 07/06/2011 16:56

I rather think K'loweigh would get the zeitgheist bullseye though?

Or "We spell it Chloe but pronounce it Evie-Mae" (my favourite current name.....)

Hullygully · 07/06/2011 18:39

I'm plumping for K'Lo-wee in the end.
