Hello,

We have just found out that baby number 3 is a girl! Happy and excited, but major problem, we cant think of any names!!! Both our DD's have a middle name after a family member (one from each side) and now not sure which side to go with next OR to give her my name (Natalie) as middle name, also cant think of any first names. Dont want to have matching first inititals, so L, C and N are off the cards...

Can anyone suggest names begining with S, R or J? I dont know why, just drawn to those letters. Thanks for any input x

Thank you! Yes it did help, even though Sienna wasn't actually mentioned on here, but it helped us try out a few names to figure out what would go with the other girls names and also which names would roll with the middle name, and it was a very close call between Sofia and Sienna in the end. DP wasn't sold on Seren, so am glad we got Sienna. It really suits her Smile

Savannah, Sophie, Samantha

I found those letters quite difficult for some reason.

EduStudent · 05/06/2011 23:08

S - Sophia, Siobhan, Stephanie, Sally, Susannah
R - Rachel, Rosalie, Rosemary, Rowena
J - Julia, Jayne, Josephine

thumbwitch · 05/06/2011 22:28

I like Natalie as a name, it would be ok to use as a middle name imo.

so with that in mind:
S - Selina, Saskia
R - Rowena, Rose
J - Juliana, Juliet, Jenna

Sorry, lacking in imagination this morning! (it's morning here)

bigbadbarry · 05/06/2011 22:23

Gah! JEnnifer.

bigbadbarry · 05/06/2011 22:23

Jannifer :)

chocoroo · 05/06/2011 22:22

Romilly.
Seren.
Jemima.

They were some of my favourites. Jemima was vetoed by DP, Seren did not suit a baby who took 4 days to deliver and Romilly is our gorgeous, wriggly 15 week old DD.

I always say middle names are the ones with stories. They're either nods to family members or the name you love but don't quite dare to use as a first name...why not go that route now you have honoured both your families?

lovetheoneyourewith · 05/06/2011 21:43

Haha, lurking with interest on the middle name dilemma.

I have two DD's with lovely middle names from mine and DH paternal grandmothers.

But the other two of our grandmother's names were.....Barbara and...Blodwyn!

Couldn't use them, really couldn't, so have no idea what middle name we'd go for for a 3rd DD.

BIG congratulations, by the way Grin
