Monroe's not bad, but poor boy having two nationalities for a name! Hmm

I STILL wish I'd given my twins names beginning with the same sound. Poor things get called 'Wiss' and 'Woo', so 'Roe' and 'Rock' aren't bad really.

Moroccan is utterly stupid. fancy saddling your child with such a crap name, its cruel IMO. The ony saving grace is that he can just use Scott.

Giving your son an adjective for a name? Fluffy would have been better.

Plus when the thought was that Moroccan was the name of the building, it made me think of all the kids who would be called Semi-Detached.

Agree that Monroe sounds OK by comparison. They may well end up being Roe and Roc or something else that sounds like a short-lived 90s dance act.

And another thing (!) why do people like Mariah and Nicole Ritchie name their children after the surname of someone they admire? Why not Marilyn or Jean? Are there any other examples of this?

I've read somewhere today that Moroccan is named after the Moroccan-themed bedroom in their house where Mariah's husband proposed (thank god he didn't propose in the toilet or kitchen) - and that he's to be known as Roc. Whatever the reasons for the names, I still don't like either - a form of child abuse IMO Blush.

Sparrow is Nicole Ritchies son. Harlow her daughter. Both fecking awful.

As is Bronx Mowgli - Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's son.

Sometimes there is a good reason that names are "unique".....

On TV this morning they said that Morroccan was named after the building they live in Hmm Grin. And Monroe doesn't sound like a girl's name does it, more like a surname. Poor kids
