Probably would be known as Dougie and Tasha day to day.

Well?

Natasha is lovely, I just abhor the nn Tasha! Alice is beautifulSmile Douglas is okay, but James is simply perfect!

How about Natasha and James, or Alice and James?

WiiUnfit · 03/05/2011 18:47

Hehe, okay, will try to think up some better suggestions! :)

Jojay · 03/05/2011 18:42

I've never read / seen Twilight so I have no clue who you are talking about, but Carlisle? NO!! Grin

JoJay, I've just seen your other thread.

If you have a Jasper & an Edward, why don't you go the Twilight trio & have an Emmett? Grin

Lostforaname · 03/05/2011 18:33

I love the names, if that helps!

Happygomummy · 03/05/2011 18:30

I love love love Douglas. I have one! I think it is a very masculine, strong name. Goes v well with James too! I don't think it's old fashioned, just (thankfully) underused.

Natasha Alice also sounds good.

scottishmummy · 03/05/2011 18:29

like douglas,dont like dougie.
like natasha dont like tasha
the diminutives dont work, beautiful name choices but not shortened

and fwiw, dont think douglas is imo good solid name

and most importantly congratulations, and ps dont pay any heed to any of us regards your name choices.

There is a little boy in my ds1's class called Douglas, I will confess to screwing my nose up a little but it suits him now I know him. All the boys call him Doug. Also Dougie from McFly he is definitely not old fashioned!

I have a JD it is really cute he calls it himself instead of his real name, he is 21 months old. I don't know if I like Natasha it reminds me of that woman from Emmerdale, I think I am associating it with someone I went to school with called Tasha who was a bit of a scruff. Obviously that makes no odds to you though :)

Bonsoir · 03/05/2011 18:26

I don't really like Douglas, and I hate Dougie and Tasha. Sorry!

Jojay · 03/05/2011 18:25

The Douglas part has no sentimental meaning. I guess I like Dougie but feel he should have a 'proper' name Smile

Hmm, sorry to sound harsh but I really don't like Douglas, Dougie or Doug & I don't think your LO will when they grow up either as it's so old fashioned. I know it may have sentimental meaning for you but not for your LO, I had a friend called Albert - he hated it. What about James Douglas (if the Douglas part is special?) He could even be "JD" as a nn?

Natasha is lovely though. :)
