unusual but 'in a good way' girls names please

hi, i am expecting my second dd in early sep and i have absolutely ZERO names to choose from so if anyone can please help?

i like unusual names but don't want a made up one, i am thinking of job interviews here...

names i like but can't use are

Loretta
Lolita
Isis
Dolores
Minka
Acacia

just to give an idea of what i like :)

i like that, its going on the shortlist. the only thing that puts me off is it doesn't have a 'proper' meaning but is that just me being picky?

I love Matilda too and really regret not using it for DD - everyone I speak to says what a beautiful name. Oh well, it is her middle name - maybe not unusual enough for OP though?

Mahalia is pronounced Ma hail ia. Mahalia Jackson was a famous gospel singer.

Ottoline Morrell was a patron of Oscar Wilde

Morven is a lovely Scottish name I have never heard outside Scotland.

I think Cassia is Spanish for cinammon, but could have dreamt that! It can be pronounced casha I think?

mousesmummy i couldn't possibly use lolita! i just like the sound of it. i can't use any of the ones i've listed for various reasons i just thought i'd give an example of names i like the sound of

i'm loving Cassia and Cadia, i like aurelia but i'm thinking lots of syllables? Confused not sure of that one

i like ivy, angelique, alyssa lurve persephone but dp vetoed all of these!

cassia and cadia are real names yes?

how would one pronounce Itasca and Mahalia?
