I like it but I would seriously avoid it. I think people would make lots of stereotyped assumptions about her. You could get around this by using it as a mn and then if she wants to use it when she's older, and she can get around any stereotyping ie she just doesn't give a f then fine...

I love Tallulah, I don't think it's 'chavy or pretentious' at all, I think more of Tallulah Bankhead than Miss Foster. It's a Native American Indian name meaning leaping water, if you want chavy let's talk Jasmine, Evie and LolaGrin

Delilah's fab too yummySmile

yummybutterbiscuit · 17/04/2011 20:31

ooo I really like delilah, and that gets away from the chavvy/stripper connections with tallulah... I think that might be my new favourite!

Hideous, chavvy, horrible.

ellesabe · 17/04/2011 20:19

No. Just no.

SolarPanel · 17/04/2011 20:14

Also like Delilah - similar syllables and "lah" ending.

SolarPanel · 17/04/2011 20:14

I like it :)

SherbetDibDab · 17/04/2011 20:00

I like it.

BertieBasset · 17/04/2011 19:53

I really liked it and then heard someone call it out at the shops and it just sounded a bit pretentious somehow? Sooooo I wouldn't go for it.

LetThereBeRock · 17/04/2011 19:49

It doesn't age well either.

LetThereBeRock · 17/04/2011 19:49

No,no and a thousand times no. It sounds like a stripper, and it's an awful name.

deemented · 17/04/2011 19:43

I can't hear Tallulah without thinking Jodie Foster in Bugsy Malone . Don't do it.
