Am currently expecting DC6(!). Bump will be much longed-for DS1. Already have:

Saffron
Dahlia
Violet
Tulip
Blossom

We would love to carry on the 'flower' theme for DS, but we don't mind branching into 'nature theme. Any ideas?

Am not sure you should stick with the theme and should go with something completely different

Max
Theo
Felix
Finlay

I know a family with a similar theme to yours and one of the boys is Campion which is nice and a wild flower.

VerintheWhite · 10/04/2011 18:42

theanimalswentintwobytwo · 10/04/2011 18:35

Bracken or Rowan

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 10/04/2011 18:35

Acer is good - the rest are utterly dreadful. Poor boy!

freesias · 10/04/2011 18:32

as others have said you can call your ds anything ,but please while you can get away with more unusual names for girls , a very exotic , unusual name will be much harder for a boy especially a teenager to carry off and he may not thank you for it .
if you do choose a more eccentric first name , please opt for a sensible middle name to at least give him some options .

Brooke
Rowan
Winter

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 10/04/2011 18:25

Ahh - Glen is one of the least silly ones suggested so far imho.

I like Philip/Pip too.

VeryStressedMum · 10/04/2011 17:57

obviously you can call your ds anything you like, but Tarragon is awful and Bracken is a dog or a rabbits name - awful too!!
I actually like Moss and Forrest is ok too.

WhyMeWhyNot · 10/04/2011 17:53

Douglas [fir], Moss, Sage, Reed or Glen.

Love your girls' names so I'm sure you'll choose well.

Congrats on the pregnancy.

ohnoshedittant · 10/04/2011 17:51

Please don't call your child Lake.

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 10/04/2011 17:43

Really, really don't like Tarragon.

ResurrectionByChocolate · 10/04/2011 17:42

Won't Forrest attract Gump as a nickname?

llareggub · 10/04/2011 17:38

Oakley is terrible.

virginiasmonalogue · 10/04/2011 17:33

yodelayheehoo · 10/04/2011 09:02

I also know of a little boy called Reef, which is lovely. Also like Reef, Moss and Heath.

CheerfulYank · 10/04/2011 04:26

INDIGO!

I love that name and can't use it because my surname is a noun. :( But Indigo is cool, I think. :) Not naturey as much, but it's in the rainbow!

I like Bracken the best out of your list. Reed is nice.
