If we have a Max, an Isabella and a Florence what can DD3 be?

Expecting DD3 this September after having twins in Sept. 10 and a son in June 08 and DH is massively a bit stressed about this pregnancy (I am oddly calm, I think looking after the 3 we already have uses up all my stress energy...)

I think if we can 'sort out' a name (or possibly 2/3 alternatives) first name middle name possibilities then he'll start seeing bump as a real little girl, not another drain on our financial resources/noise making machine/reason his wife probably won't sleep with him until 2015...

So far we have Max, Florence and Isabella (Middle names are James, Olivia and Violet). Our surname is 2 syllables and starts with a T. We are fairly sure bump is a little girl.

We had a good list for boys (typical) but after using our 4 favourite girls names less than a year ago we're a bit stuck...

Possibles include Lydia, Adelaide, Elizabeth, Henrietta and Hannah with Ruby and Maisie contenders for middle names but neither of us are particularly excited about any of them and we absolutely adored the older girls names, it seems unfair to give DD3 a 'meh' name...

My suggestion was going to be Max, Isabella, Florence and Rosalie (Rosalie Hannah) :)

Lorelei?

Max, Florence, Isabella and Lorelei.

electra · 07/04/2011 16:44

From your list I would choose Lydia.

mathanxiety · 07/04/2011 16:41

I would avoid Elizabeth as Isabella is a variant. I like Henrietta from your list.

How about
Juliet
Katherine (nn Kate)
Anastasia
Helena or Helen
Ruth

Thereisalight ah, but is your name Teapot? :)

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 07/04/2011 16:06

My name is Louisa mn Clare surname (maiden and married surname) both have 2 syllable.

So I agree with LadyWellian Grin

LadyWellian · 07/04/2011 16:04

Oh, where did my post go?

I was trying to suggest Louisa with a one-syllable middle name like Jane, Beth, Grace, but probably not May because of the Alcott thing.

Also like Alexa and Jemima with the above, as have the same rhythm. So pretending for a moment your surname is Teapot (which I dare say it isn't), Louisa Grace Teapot or Alexa Jane Teapot (or whatever combination) trip along quite nicely.

We knew we wanted a 3-syllable middle name with a stress on the middle syllable for DD, and used 'banana' as a substitute until we could agree on one!
