'Old-fashioned' names that might NOT make a come-back?

I was thinking about names that might have been popular about 100 years ago or more, and were then considered old-fashioned 30, 40 or even 50 years ago - but are now becoming more popular again. For example, Dorothy and Archie are names that are probably used more now than they were for babies born in the 60s or 70s.

So I wondered if there are names that have not made a come-back, and are not likely to?

For example, does anyone think these names are used much for babies born recently:
Eustace
Eunice
Jean (for a girl; not the French boys' name)
Joan (for a girl; not the Catalan boys' name)

I'm not trying to start a 'these are horrible names' thread. I'm just wondering which 'old-fashioned'-type names haven't really been revived. (Or perhaps I should say: haven't really been revived yet!)

My middle name is Martha after an ancient aunt.
My godmother who was born in 1901 was Eudora, known as Dora.
I know a Phyllis who is younger than me, but she got a lot of grief growing up with an old fashioned name.
Bridget Millicent Eleanor Patricia Gordon Roy Cliff are all family names I've not seen in children.

A few months ago I would have said Albert (as in, my 88 year old grandfather's name) but I now now a baby "Bert" so I'm probably wrong!

I know someone younger than me (38) called Noreen.

My paternal grandfather was called "Launcelot"

His brother was called Leslie (Les).

I know a child named Ada (though her parents are misprouncing it as 'adder').

I can't (or rather don't want to) see Rodney or Julie coming back.

I met a woman at toddler group with a 3 y old Paul, did seem a bit weird but I would think it a perfectly acceptable name on anyone over 30, weird. I defy anyone to find a young Nigel though.

Myrtle won't cone back until people have stopped reading Harry Potter.

Agatha has a certain old lady chic, but Aggy is unfortunately linked with cleaning harridan.

DH and I have decided that if you're going to go retro with baby names then you should go all out, so our next DS will be called Athelstan - we think it's an intriguing blend of Old English monarch and West Indian cricketer. Unfortunately little 'stan will have to go some to swim past DH's vasectomy...perhaps it's for the best.

Looking at this thread with interest as I want to get some more chickens and give them old-lady names. I currently have a Peggy and am thinking of Gladys, Ethel, Vera and Betty for the next ones as I'm unlikely to meet any women with those names (although I don't think of Betty as being a name that's died out after Ugly Betty on TV).

I also dont understand Paul or John tbh.....my dbro is called Paul John and my dh is called Paul too. So very, very boring. Parents making no effort whatsoever. Hurrumph.

On OBEM the other week a couple called their new baby boy...martin.

I mean...why??????????

I went to school with a Spencer, Rupert and Roger and I am 38 (so not that old)
